Tilton 99T 5.5 Magnesium Bellhousing Kits were engineered specifically to meets the demands of short track racing. The lightweight and rigid magnesium bellhousing provides maximum ground clearance and features an easy access side-bolt mounting system for the starter. Unlike other bellhousings on the market, the transmission no longer has to be removed in order to service the starter. The lightweight and 5.5 ULTRA clutch and small diameter 99-tooth cover-mount ring gear provides an ultra-low inertia and maximum reliability. Since 1972, Tilton has been supplying championship winning parts to racers and these 99T 5.5 Magnesium Bellhousing Kits are destined to become the new standard in short track racing.

99T 5.5″ Aluminum Bellhousing Kits include:

• Magnesium rear-mount starter bellhousing designed for maximum weight savings
• Compact design provides increase ground clearance and exhaust header clearance. Distance from centerline of crankshaft to bottom of bellhousing is only 4.5”
• Integral mounting ears for use as rear engine mount
• Accepts transmissions with Chevy 4-bolt mounting pattern
and 4.68” register diameter
• Blueprinted for parallelism and concentricity
